The term "Dieselpunk" was coined by Lewis Pollak and Dan Ross in 2001 for their RPG Children of the Sun. Pollak described Dieselpunk as being on the "darker, dirtier side of Steampunk" and as a continuum between Steampunk and Cyberpunk. Eyebrows
If you want to achieve the thin eyebrows popular in the 1920s, you can either pluck them or use concealer and foundation to cover them. To pluck your eyebrows, use a pair of tweezers to shape them into a thin arch, making them slightly thinner at the ends.
Alternatively, if you do not want to pluck, you can use concealer and foundation to partially or entirely cover your existing eyebrows. For a partial cover, apply the makeup to your eyebrow hairs, leaving a thin line of hair exposed. Layer enough concealer and foundation to match the color of your skin and blend the covered eyebrow into your face.
To completely cover your eyebrows, apply concealer and foundation to all of the hairs. Once covered, you can use a pencil to draw in thin eyebrows.
To darken your eyebrows, use an eyebrow pencil in either black or brown. This will not only add color to your eyebrows but also help define their shape and make the arch more visible. Choose a color that is slightly darker than your natural hair color to create a natural appearance.
